Description

Forest Service requires the upgrade of one campground and one trailhead. Campground work includes, but is not limited to, providing and installing campground furniture, installation of signs, gates, fire rings and log barriers, placing geo-textile and aggregate surfacing on roadways and spurs, painting and minor clearing. Trailhead work includes, but is not limited to, shaping and surfacing new trailhead turnaround, surfacing road and parking, removal of old loading ramp and hitch rails, installation of signs, hitching rails, fire rings, and one vault toilet. The project is located on the Yankee Fork Ranger District, Salmon-Challis National Forest, Custer County, Idaho. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The completion date for this project will be August 1, 2006. All work on the Bonanza Campground portion of the project must be completed by June 29, 2006. Work is estimated to start May of 2006. Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, September 7, 2005. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately August 8, 2005, and can be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. You may register at www.ccr.gov.
