Description
The Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is seeking information from manufacturers interested in identification of items currently in production that can meet our contemplated requirements, as follows, for a Running Man Target System: TECHNICAL: --Running Man Track 100mtrs (Meters) in length. --Track must be sectional not to exceed 12 feet when broken down. --Track must be flexible towards rolling terrain when installed. --Track must be supportive. --Running Man Target Mover and Lifter must be RC (Remote Controlled). --Running Man Target Mover and Lifter must support E-Type or 3-D targets. --Running Man Target Mover and Lifter Must support full scale Targetry. --Running Man Target Mover cannot exceed 2 feet exposure. --Running Man Target Mover must be flexible on target presentation. --Running Man Target Mover must have different speeds. --Transportation trailer must be part of the package. --Transportation trailer must meet Federal Regulations through (DOT). --Transportation trailer must have the ability to be secured. --Transportation trailer must be road ready (Mobil) upon purchase. --Transportation trailer must be bumper hitch only, no goose neck. OPERATIONAL --Target presentation must be vertical or horizontal based on placement. --Target presentation must meet stand-alone or vehicle window frame option. --Full warranty package available. --Battery operated RC must include 2 each per system. --Training on Target system must be available. --Company must provide Demonstrations and be prepared to answer additional questions concerning modifications and technical information. --Equipment must be operational and meet specifications on purchase. Interested parties are requested to submit responses electronically to Agustin Archuleta at aarchuleta2@doeal.gov no later than close of business, August 9, 2005. This request for information does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited in this sources sought announcement. NNSA is a strong advocate for the small business community and interested small businesses/lead teams and joint ventures that qualify as small businesses are especially encouraged to submit a response to this notice.
