Description

This Sources Sought/Market Survey is seeking interested businesses for competitive consideration. The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE is conducting a market survey to determine the sizes and types of businesses available for a firm fixed-price contract for intrusion detection equipment (IDE) maintenance for one base year. The work involves quarterly maintenance of over 300,000 pieces of IDE, total system inspections, training of Government personnel, and 24/7 emergency response services for Offutt AFB and its tennants. The current intrusion detection system is majority owned by ADT Security Services, Inc. The estimated cost for the life of the contract is $1.5M. NAICS code is 561621 with a size standard of $10.5M. All interested firms should notify this office in writing by mail of your interest in this notice. Responses should include: (1) Identification of company size status, certifications, i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, or if you are a small business, a self-certification. (2) If you are a Section 8(a) , HUBZone, or SDVOSB firm considering a joint venture, you will need to provide proof that this consideration has been forwarded to the cognizant SBA office for approval. (3) Proof of experience and capability. NOTE: This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Proposal, or an announcement of a solicitation. Responses are required not later than 5 August 2005. Address responses to: 55 CONS/LGCA, 101 Washington Sq, Offutt AFB, NE 68113-2107, Attn: TSgt Scott E. Butler, Contract Specialist. Interested firms shall provide the above documentation with one original and one copy. Responses shall be limited to five (5) pages. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey nor return the data provided. The results of this survey will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice.
