Description

The MEDCOM Europe Regional Contracting Office will issue a solicitation for full time Hospital Housekeeping Services in support of patient care for Medical Treatment Facilities in Germany. Dates and locations of hospital housekeeping services to b egin are: January 2006 - Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC); December 2005 - U.S. Army Medical Activity Heidelberg (USAMH); December 2005 - U.S. Army Medical Activity, Wuerzburg (USAMW). Hospital Housekeeping services also include supported out lying health, dental and veterinary clinics associated with the primary Medical Treatment Facilities. The proposed contract period will begin December 2005 for the base year and include 4 option years ending November 2010. A site visit will be coordinat ed with interested offerors prior to the close of the solicitation. Proposed Solicitation issue date: 25 July 2005. Facilities are varied and include the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC), Heidelberg (USAMH) and the Wuerzburg (USAMW) and all the ir associated outlying health, dental and veterinary clinics. Their respective current operational bed capacities are; LRMC 150, USAMH 45, and USAMW 41. LRMC has 11 outlying locations, USAMH has 25 outlying locations and USAMW has 21 outlying locations.
