Description

The U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS) is seeking vendors interested in providing use of convention center facilities for the purpose of holding multiple Naturalization Ceremonies in Tampa, FL for the period of 10/01/2005 through 09/30/2006. An acceptable facility shall be located within Tampa, and accommodate approximately 1,000 people. Of the total occupancy, approximately 400 will be participants, a small number will be officials and the remainder, audience. An acceptable facility shall include an auditorium, lobby space and meeting room space. In addition to the rental of the facility itself, the rental shall include chairs & tables, easels, stanchions, ropes, use of USA & FL flags, stage lights, lectern & microphone, draperies, traffic officer, security guards, stagehand/sound operator, electricity, video presentation equipment and operator, and custodial services. Only handicapped accessible facilities can be considered. The facility must be accessible by public transportation and have public parking available. Facility usage on each event date requires move in at 7:00 am, event start at 8:45 am, event end at or about 3:00pm, and move out by 3:30pm. All event dates are between Monday and Friday, except Federal holidays, and occur approximately every four weeks.
