- This notice is to announce that this NSN will be solicited in the near future. This is not a Solicitation / Request for Proposal. The Solicitation / Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. Solicitation Issue date is on or about 08/11/05 with the Response date on or around 09/15/05. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The response date referenced above is estimated. Purchase request number: IQC05061009001. NSN: 5945-01-193-7175. Nomenclature: Relay, Solid State. Contractor First Article Testing applies. Sources Waived First Article Testing: PRECISION SWITCHING (52401) P/N: SS-1678; ADCO CIRCUITS (3X823) P/N: 12338603; SIGNALS AND SYSTEMS (51819) P/N: 5582766; and KDS CONTROLS INC (09HP0) P/N: 12338603. Those offerors not supplying the waived source will be subject to the First Article Testing Requirements. The details and bid set related to the First Article Testing will be made available with the solicitation through the above mentioned website. An Indefinite Quantity Contract (365 days basic with four (4) 365-day option periods) is anticipated. Total five (5) year estimated quantity is 1152 each. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. Deliveries will be to various DLA customers and/or stocking locations. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. "Notice to All Contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01- 26 (Item I, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitations in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instructions and requirements in solicitations and contract awards."
