Description

This project consists of reconstruction of two (2) Forest Service roads: FDR 406B and FDR 428. The work will be performed on the DeSoto National Forest, in Jackson County, National Forests in Mississippi. Contract completion time is 40 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The Government's estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The project is 100 percent set-aside for small business. The Government is planning a pre-bid/pre-proposal conference, during which potential Offerors may obtain a better understanding of the work required. The meeting will held at 09:00 a.m. on August 10, 2005, at the De Soto District Ranger office at 654 W. Frontage Rd., Wiggins, MS 39577-8131. A Bid Bond of 20 percent of the total offer amount is required for the offer to be responsive. TELEPHONE REQUESTS ARE DISCOURAGED.
