Description: The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office intends to procure Elsevier ScienceDirect Online subscription service. This is NOT a formal solicitation. This non-competitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Elsevier Science Inc. is the sole publisher/distributor for this online subscription service. At this time the USPTO is extending the contract for an additional year for a Limited ScienceDirect subscription. The USPTO intends to issue a modification for the firm fixed price commercial items in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 12, and the Test Program at FAR Subpart 13.5. This is NOT a formal solicitation. See Note 22
