Description

700th Contracting Squadron at Ramstein AB, Germany is planning to purchase non-personal services for maintenance, repair, and inspection of overhead doors for the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC). The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform safety inspections, preventive maintenance and repair to overhead doors at Ramstein Air Base (AB), Sembach AB, Landstuhl, Bann, Einsiedlerhof, Kapuan, and Vogelweh (Kaiserslautern Military Community), Germany, in a manner that will ensure continuous operation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811310 and Standard Industry Classification (SIC) Code is 7699. This is an unrestricted procurement. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price type contract. The Government intends to have a base performance period from 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006, and four (4) option year periods. This action will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) on the Electronic Posting System (EPS, www.eps.gov) on or about 4 August 2005. Interested parties should review these documents and provide any comments via email to this office. Questions related to this project must be submitted in writing. The government plans to use the Internet and email as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documentation will not be made available.
