Description

The proposal submittal date for W912PQ-05-R-0008 is extended until July 29, 2005 @ 3:00 P.M. EST. Questions/Clarifications Please clarify what is expected of the contractor electrically. At the walk thru, it was mentioned that we will be providing conduits & power wiring from the turnstiles to the nearest building and that the Government would be responsible for all work from this point back to the panel to provide power to the unit. On the unit itself we would only be responsible for hooking up the walkway lights. It was also mentioned that the government would pull all control wiring and hook up all control points in the h ead mechanism that the turnstile may require. I am assuming that two of the four conduits for the front turnstile will be used for power. Is this correct? Do the bollards have individual footings or should the footings or should the footing be continuous connect the bollards? Creating a large footing connecting multiple bollards is what Leda describes as the preferable method of installation. Will the cost estimate spreadsheet be provided to input pricing? Response: Individual Footings. ?Question 3: Will the cost estimate spreadsheet be provided to input pricing? Response: A worksheet was e-mailed with the package and will be used for pricing the project. This change was posted to the DMNA Web-Site previously referenced. There are no further changes to this solicitation.
