Description

Item to be procured: 90 (Ninety) each, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA),NSN 5998-01-352-5722, P/N 9376196. Major End Item is M1A1 Tank. There are two (2) Not To Exceed 100% options associated with this procurement in each of the first two years following contract award or First Article Test Report (FATR) approval, whichever is later. The Government reserves the right to exercise subsequent options without any requirement that the Government exercise any portion of earlier option(s) first. Specifically, the Government's right to exercise subsequent options is not contingent upon the Government exercising earlier options. This is a 100% Small Business setaside procurement. Item consists of capacitators, semiconductor devices, microcircuit, transformer, r elays, connectors, resistors, etc. There are approved sources of supply for the various microcircuits. Stable-base Mylars are required. There is an amount of Government Furnished Material (GFM) that will be provided to the successful offeror. There are a number of source-controlled drawings associated with this procurement. Estimated issue date for solicitation is 26 August 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/AAIS/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested partie s to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Note 1 applies.
