Description
Repair Parts Summit - Session II will be held by the US Army TACOM on August 1, 2005, from 7:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m. The summit will be held at the Best Western Inn in Sterling Heights, MI. TACOM will conduct this Repair Parts Summit for Tactical an d Combat Vehicle Programs. The purpose of the summit is to allow Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS) and PEO Combat Support and Combat Service Support (PEO CS & CSS ), Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC ) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to brief current and upcoming requirements (including RECAP/RESET) to industry as these pertain to spare parts/modules. TACOM expects to facilitate information exchange between Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs )/vendors/Government and t o identify any potential shortfalls in meeting upcoming Government requirements by establishing a resolution path. OEMs Freightliner, BAE, UDLP, General Dynamics Land Systems, Stewart & Stevenson, Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Systems & Electronics Inc., AM General, and Textron will brief a breakdown of the end items into system level components. The Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC ) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA ) will be briefing spare and sustainment requirements. There is limited seating pl ease confirm reservation ASAP. In the RSVP, be sure to include the company name, attendee name, email address, and whether you'll be ordering lunch. The cost for lunch, including tax and gratuity, is $12.75. Payment can be made on the morning of the summit at the registration table. Exact change is required and checks will not be accepted (cash only please). A receipt will be provided.
