Description

I. INTRODUCTION A. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. B. The combined synopsis and Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is: AMSRDT-AR-2-4405. C. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27, effective 08 July 2005. D. This acquisition is not set aside for small business. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing. E. Basis for Award - Award shall be made to the responsible offeror having the lowest price. II. GENERAL The United States Army Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for eight (8) Data Acquisition Systems to include the following requirements: * Rack and/or DIN rail mountable DAQ chassis and wire terminals. * 5m shielded cabling for all interconnections between DAQ hardware, computer, and wire terminals. * System must include all hardware necessary to sample: o 120 Thermocouples (90 J, 30 K) o 60 0-10 VDC Analogs In o 10 +/-10 VDC Analog Out o 6 Frequency In o 30 Digital In (110/240 VAC&VDC) o 30 Relay (15 VDC & 110 VAC) * End-to-end connection (PC interface card to bare instrumentation extension wire) * 18 bit Analog Input * 16 bit Analog Output * NIST-traceable calibration certificate * Interface drivers and API B. Submittal Instructions: The quotation shall be submitted electronically to Lateefah.Parker@us.army.mil no later than 12:00 noon EST on August 5, 2005. Quotations shall all be in English (American Standard) language and denominated in U.S. dollars. FOB Destination is the only ac cepted shipping option. Quotation shall include shipping and delivery schedule. This will be a firm fixed price contract and quotations shall be made accordingly. In the event that we select your quotation for award, we will send out a contract incorporating the above terms & conditions, and particulars of your quotation. TACOM reserves the right to seek clarification on any aspect of your quotation. C. This acquisition is unrated under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS). D. Contractors must be listed in the Central Contractor Registry prior to receiving an award. Refer to website www.ccr.gov for registration information. E.
