Description

The National Park Service intends to award a sole-source contract to Liquid Waste Management, Inc. 204 South Bowen, Longmont, CO 80501for the pumping, hauling in a liquid state, drying, and hauling of dried solids to an appropaiate landfill for disposal of sewage collected from the Colter Bay Lagoon. This proposal is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their written interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competetive proposal, however, all expressions of interest received within 15 calendar days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determinatio by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely whthin the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competetive procurement. Any prospective firm must demonstrate the ability to provide specialized equipment for the pumping of approximately 750,000 gallons of sewage, hauling in secure trucks, using specialized equipment to aid in the drying of hauled sewage, and hauling of the dried sewage a distance of approximately 100 miles to a landfill. The NAICS code for this procurement is 562998 with the estimate of the resultant contract not to exceed $250,000.
