Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center, Corvallis, OR intends to make a sole source award (base year and possibly up to 4 option years) to Oregon State University, College of Forestry, 306 Kerr Administration Bldg, Corvallis, OR 97331, to provide access to OSU College of Forestry network facilities and statistical consulting services for forestry and other natural resources scientific research activities. Services and access to include: access to OSU software and shared data storage space; backup and recovery facilitation; statistical consulting services; technical user support; Unix support for one workstation. This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond within ten days of this announcement. All responses must be in writing by facsimile to the Contracting Officer at (916) 278-9339 or email vfriesner@usgs.gov. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. If no submissions are received the Government will proceed with a noncompetitive award without further notice.
