Description
Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office ? Southwest is conducting market research to identify 8(A), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), HUBZone certified firms or small businesses who possess the following capabilities and experience: Necessary equipment, expertise, and manpower to supply and maintain a Fire Station Alerting System (located at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar California) to include: Installation of system Fire Dispatcher system for two (2) Fire Stations. The system must be a full-featured alerting system that provides the following functions: (1) SBC/Positron E-911 system interface (2) Alert Fire Stations. The alerting system must have the ability to independently or simultaneously alert each fire station. Contractor must have the ability to furnish, install, and maintain the fire alert system for a minimum of five (5) years. The NAICS code applicable to this sources sought notice is 561621 Security Systems Services (except Loc! ksmiths). The small business size standard is $10.5 million. It is anticipated that this requirement will be acquired in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 (Acquisition of Commercial Items and Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This sources sought notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal, Request for Quotation, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought synopsis or otherwise pay for the information solicited. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submission of responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis and the Government?s use of such information. Respondents of this Sources Sought Synopsis may be requested to provide additional information/details on their initial submittals. 8(A), or Service Disabled Veteran Ow! ned Small Business (SDVOSB), or HUBZone certified firms, or small businesses who possess the capability and experience to perform the work described above should submit (1) their company name, point of contact, telephone number, fax number, email address, DUNS number, and CAGE Code; (2) a statement indicating 8(a), SDVOSB, or HUBZone certification; (3) a statement of interest in work at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California; (4) a list of previous alarm system and maintenance work performed by the firm of similar magnitude. The list shall include contract numbers, project magnitude, a brief summary of the work performed, and the name and contact information for the activity for which the work was performed.
