- As part of its market research, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking information from private industry regarding a planned competitive procurement for History Center Management Services for NGA?s facility located at St Louis, MO. A Time and Materials Contract for consultation services is contemplated for one 12-month base year and four 12-month options. Consultation services can include, but is not limited to site manager tasks related to opening and closing the museum, scheduling, coordinating, and conducting tours and related building usage and maintenance actions; collections management tasks related to documents and artifacts processing, cataloging and periodically inventorying, overseeing the reception and proper storage of incoming objects and documents; historian tasks such as preparation of finding aids, preparation of collections, exhibits, and historical brochures as NGA history publications, and the conducting of oral history and research projects on the history of the site and the artifacts and documents located at NGA West. These tasks will involve interaction with both current and retired NGA and predecessor agency employees and contractors. The Contractor must be a U.S. citizen with a TS/SCI Clearance. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541618. The Government encourages the participation of Small Business concerns and welcomes their responses to this Source Sought Announcement. Interested companies are invited to submit responses discussing their capabilities and relevant expertise/experience. They are encouraged to provide potential strategies, lessons learned, potential business solutions, and other information the Government could find useful for this requirement. Request that you address the following areas of interest: (1) Provide instances of any similar consultation services to the Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community that your company has managed. (2) What level of management qualifications, education and experience would you consider appropriate to manage and support this effort? (3) Describe your consultation experience in relation to History Center Management Services. Include any lessons learned appropriate for this service. (4) Describe any other appropriate issues you would like to address. (5) What is your business size, i.e., small/8a/women owned/Hub Zone/large? (6) Provide point of contact name/telephone/email/ mailing address. All information received from this announcement will be compiled and used for planning purposes. No proprietary information should be submitted. Sources are urged to describe their expertise/experience in sufficient detail to allow NGA to define subsequent RFP opportunities. This Sources Sought Announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposals or an Invitation for Bids. It does not restrict the Government to any particular acquisition strategy or contracting approach. Responses to this Sources Sought Announcement are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
