- This announcement serves to provide notice that the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for a lease of approximately 70,000 rentable square feet of office space at 1275 K Street, NW in Washington, DC. PBGC plans to negotiate a superceding lease at this location based on economic, mission, and other factors. The current lease does not allow for any further expansion space and the agency has plans for an increase in staffing that will require them to be located in 1275 K Street, adjacent to the PBGC Headquarters? facility. Due to the agency?s need to accomplish this in an expeditious manner, there are no other viable options for this requirement. See note 22.
