Description

The 3,400 square foot work area is in a large single-story masonry building on the US Army Soldier Systems Center, Kansas Street, Natick, MA. The building height is approximately 22 feet and has a flat roof. The project includes the demolition of l arge textile laboratory equipment, utility piping, ductwork & roof fans, asbestos containing material, electrical wiring & equipment, monorail & trolley, and miscellaneous items. The utility piping includes steam & condensate piping, hot & cold water pipi ng, and compressed air piping. The utility piping is typically located at 18 to 20 feet above the finished floor. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 12 August 2005. Prosp ective contractors are required to self register their firm on the internet to receive this solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at http://www.nae.usace.army.mil. Amendments, if any, will be available at this internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list.
