Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for a commercially available off-the-shelf CD/DVD writing software solution to support a maximum quantity of 124,000 workstations, including laptops. SSA anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract with optional maintenance line items for a four year period. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 423430 and the size standard is 100 employees. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. SSA-RFQ-05-1600 will be posted to FedBizOpps no later than July 31, 2005. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerers shall be responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps internet site for release of SSA-RFQ-05-1600.
