- Following are the questions and answers regarding this solicitation no. SB1341-05-Q-0828 Question 1. Does the agency wish for the students to have actual copies of ASME/ANSI Y 14.5 and ASME/ANSI Y 14.5.1? Will these copies be provided by the agency or does the Contractor need to obtain licensed copies? Answer 1. The Contractor is not required to provide copies of Y 14.5 and Y 14.5.1 for the class. Contractor handout material shall closely follow the presentation, e.g. copies of the power point presentation. Question 2. Does the presentation have to be in Power Point? Answer 2. No, the presentation can be in any format, but physical copies of the presentation must be provided to each student by the Contractor. Question 3. Who is the target audience for this training? Answer 3. 10% shop product personnel; 10% technicians; 25% BS engineers; 15% MS engineers / scientists; 40% Ph.D. engineers / scientists. Question 4. Is it preferable to use the SF1449 form as indicated in FAR Clause 52.212-1(b) (Submission of Offers)? Answer 4. As the FAR 52.212-1(b) indicates, submission of offers MAY BE submitted on the SF 1449 or letterhead stationery. Question 5. Do the prospective Offerors need to be registered in CCR (Central Contractor Registration) during the request for quotation process? Answer 5. By the time of Award, the Contractor must be actively registered in CCR.
