Description

Fort Hood, Texas has a requirement for (567) ICOM radios F43GS 86 Military Bundle Green/TAN, UHF Portable 380-430 MHz, (5) ICOM F43G Military Bundle PRG Kit and (260) ICOM Multi-unit charger kit. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Non-secure radios are not authorized for any tactical scenario with the exception of the ICOM F40/43 Handheld squad radio previously validated by HQDA G3. Therefore, this procurement will be solicited brand name only. The NAICS code is 423620, Electrical and Electronic Appliance, Television, and Radio Set Merchant Wholesalers. The SIC code is 5064. The FSC is 5826, Radio Navigation Equipment, Airborne. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ), W91151-05-Q-0071, on or about 05 Aug 2005. The RFQ will be available for download at the Army Single Face to Industry website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. No paper copies of the solicitat ion will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), accessed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
