Description

The National Park Service intends to issue a Prospectus for the sale of visitor merchandise at Oregon Caves National Monument (ORCA). This authorization at ORCA includes the sale of such merchandise as candy, chips, and drinks. Visitor convenience merchandise will be sold in the area assigned in the Concession agreement for sales activities by the Concessioner. No existing concessioner exists for these services at Oregon Caves National Monument. One contract will be issued for this commercial service. The length of the new contract will be for ten (10) years. Any offer must be received by the Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Pacific West Region, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, CA 94607 no later than sixty (60) days after the date of publication of this notice in order to be evaluated and considered for an award of a concession contract. The Prospectus will be issued July 28, 2005, for a 60-day response period under the terms described in the Prospectus, with proposals due on September 27, 2005, no later than 4:00 p.m. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $40 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package.
