Description

ISSUE DATE: 08/11/05. Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for the replacement of the following Aid to Navigation (ATON) structure in Eastchester Bay at the base of Hutchinson River, NY. Cuban Ledge Day Beacon ? The contractor shall rebuild Cuban Ledge Day Beacon located at 40? 50?30? North Latitude 073? 48?12? West Longitude. The work includes, but is not limited to fabrication of a pre-cast concrete pedestal, fabrication of a sectional spindle tower and placement of approximately 450 tons of riprap. Dayboards will be provided as government furnished equipment for contractor install and incidental related work. Perform a third order, class 1 geodetic survey of the new structures position. The estimated cost range of this project is $100,000 to $250,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 8/11/05. The due date for receipt of proposals is scheduled for 9/12/05 at 4:00 pm. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAIS code is 237990 and the size standard is $28.5 million. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
