This is an RFP. Specifications, plans and drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore the Government intends to solicit and contract with only the approved sources. Approved sources are: Cooper Bussman (71400), Superior Fuse & Mfg.(18762), Slytone Industries (09310), Alfa Laval (71871), Bulgin Components (U0928), Hill Ross Controls (0AX25), Miller Electric Mfg. Co. (40608), Ward Leonard Electric (63473), Telex Communications (28856), Nortel Networks (01794) and Harris Corporation (14304). Request for hard copies of this solicitation will not be accepted. This solicitation will be available on its issue date of 8/15/05 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
