- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a non-competitive, sole source purchase order to the Bose Corporation, Framingham, MA 01701-1886. Bose is the sole manufacturer and shall provide the following equipment. Axial/Torison Upgrade -+28Nm (250 in-lb), Catalog# ELF33-AT28N-M; Load cell-Axial/Torsion Load Cell-2.2 kN/28 Nm-Calibration included; Additional Tension/Torsion Grip Face Set, Catalog# GRP-TT-Ti2250N; Face/Titanium ? 2250 N/28 Nm; Round V cut for 2 to 6mm diameter specimen; Integration of torsion system to existing ELF 3300 which includes (install/configure torsion actuator and load cell and PC hardware for rotation measurement, configure power supply for additional e-stop and calibration (all relevant transducers) (See Attachments) This is not a formal request for quotes. However, the evaluation of other offers and any award decision will be made on a best value basis. The FDA intends to make and award immediately after the response date of this notice.
