Description
The Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community based outpatient substance abuse treatment services in the City of Springfield, South of I-44, but not south of US-60 (US-60 is the limit south of the City), to the east of the city US-65 is the limit and to the west US-160 is the limit, Missouri area for the drug abuse treatment services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2005 with four (4) one year option periods, with service ending (if all option years are renewed) on September 30, 2010. The services required for this contract include Line Item Number 1: Base Period, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four respectively. Base Year: Estimated Number of Inmates 40: (4) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units per 40 inmate = 1,920 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units per 40 inmates = 2,880 total units; (2) Mental Health Assessment and Report (4 inmates) 8 total units; (2) Medication Monitoring (4 inmates) 8 total units. Option Year One: Estimated Number of Inmates 44: (4) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units per 44 inmate = 2,112 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units per 44 inmates = 3,168 total units; (2) Mental Health Assessment and Report (4 inmates) 8 total units; (2) Medication Monitoring (4 inmates) 8 total units. Option Year Two: Estimated Number of Inmates 48: (6) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units per 48 inmate = 2,304 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units per 48 inmates = 3,456 total units; (2) Mental Health Assessment and Report (4 inmates) 8 total units; (2) Medication Monitoring (4 inmates) 38 total units. Option Year Three: Estimated Number of Inmates 52: (6) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units per 52 inmate = 2,496 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units per 52 inmates = 3,744 total units; (2) Mental Health Assessment and Report (4 inmates) 8 total units; (2) Medication Monitoring (4 inmates) 8 total units. Option Year Four: Estimated Number of Inmates 56: (8) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units per 56 inmate = 2,688 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units per 56 inmates = 4,032 total units; (2) Mental Health Assessment and Report (4 inmates) 8 total units; (2) Medication Monitoring (4 inmates) 8 total units. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated January 2004. The solicitation will be available on or after August 11, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about September 9, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency. The acquisition is set aside for total small business. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
