Description: The Athena Multi-lyte testing equipment described in this solicitation will be purchased in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor will provide an instrument that is multiplexed, fluorescent, bead-based test system that simultaneously performs ANA screening, dsDNA, SSA, SSB, Sm, RNP, Scl-70, Jo-1, Centromere and Histones in a single well for the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHS) 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, TX 76504. Pricing will be based on the purchase of Test Kits for the autoimmune testing machine. The contract effective period shall be for the base period October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006, with four (4) one-year optional renewal periods.
