Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B3R15161A400 is hereby issued as a FOB Destination Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-22. This acquisition is restricted 100% to small business 19.1405(b) and is under North American Industry Classification System code 332992, with a small business size standard of 1000 Employees. Altus AFB, OKLAHOMA HAS A REQUIREMENT FOR SIMULATION AMMUNITION AND EQUIPMENT. PRODUCT MUST BE SIMUNITION BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. PRODUCTS NEEDED ARE AS FOLLOWS. 33(cases) BLUE FX CARTRIDGES, 27(cases) RED CARTRIGES, 75 M-16/A2 CONVERSION KITS WITH 14.5 INCH BARREL, 75 THROAT PROTECTORS (50 L/XL, 25 S/M) AND 75 PROTECTIVE MASK. IF QUOTING A EQUAL PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE MUNITIONS ARE FOR TRAINING PURPOSES AND MUST BE ABLE TO BE FIRED AT LIVE TARGETS (PEOPLE) WITHOUT KILLING OR SERIOUSLY INJURING THEM. Award will be made based on price, and suitability of the item for use at the desired location. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor.
