Description
This is not a Request for Proposals. Department of the Army, Defense Contracting Command-Washington, The Pentagon, on behalf of the US Army HQDA DCS G-3/5/7, DAMO-ODG, Operation and Technology Office, is conducting a market survey in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.001 to determine the extent of HUBZone participation and capability to perform a requirement for Special Technical Operations (STO) and Special Information Operations (SIO) Training and curriculum development. All responsible sources are invited, at no cost to the Government, to provide technical information for a capability evaluation. This Sources Sought/Market Research shall not be construed as a Request for Proposals. The Government does not intend to awar d a contract from the results of this Sources Sought Notice. The North American Industry Classification Code for this requirement is 541611 and the Small Business size is $6.0 Million Dollars. HUBZone contractors are encouraged to review and comment on t he Statement of Work (SOW), which may be found at http//dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/sole/htm. The requirement is identified as follows: Contractor shall be able to provide support to the Department of the Army Special Technical Operations (DAMO-ODG) in satisfying requirements to train Army planners in Army Service Component Command, Corps, Divisions, and Information Operation Units, as well as planners in selected Army Schools and selected senior-level Army Staff involved in the planning, review, appr oval, and execution of Special Technical Operations (STO) capabilities in support of military operations. The proposed period of performance will be for a base period of twelve (12) months, with four (4) one-year option periods, Capability statements sh ould include a description of your companys experience and necessary resources to support this requirement and examples of your companys past performance in executing this type of work. Individual responses to this request for information that may conta in company proprietary information must be marked accordingly. Such information will not be released outside the Government. The Government may revise its acquisition strategy and solicitation requirements based upon industry response. The Government sh all not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any technical information identified (e.g., limited and/or restricted rights). Deas no later than 24 hours prior to delivery by both telephone (703) 695-5500 and email ( this is to assure that arrangements can be made to accept promptly by appropriate personnel); and US POSTAL SERVICE CHANNELS (LEAST PREFERRED METHOD): Department of the Army, Defense Contracting Command-Washington, ATTN: Mr. John B. Deas, Rm. 1C256, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, DC 20310-5200. Because of tightened security measures, this method is strongly discouraged. Packages arriving through US Postal Services are screened and may be opened prior to their receipt at DCC-W. These actions and other uncertain delays are very probable and are entirely outside the control of DCC-W. Any package received by DCC-W through postal channels after the due date wil l be returned in the same condition it was received.
