This item is restricted to Lockheed Martin Corporation, DBA  Missiles and Fire Control Orlando, 5600 West Sand Lake Road, MP125, Orlando, FL 32819 (vendor code 04939). because manufacture of this part requires special test and/or inspection facilities to determine and maintain ultra-precision quality for its function or system integrity. Substantiation and inspection of the precision or quality cannot be accomplished wit hout such specialized test or inspection facilities. If the test cannot be made available for the competitive manufacture of the part, the required test or inspection knowledge cannot be documented for reliable replication, or the required physical test or inspection facilities and processes cannot be economically documented in a TDP. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualif ication Procedures for Missile Requirements (AMCOM pamphlet 702-1) and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Missile Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annot ated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
