Z--MODIFY DESCRIPTION TO CORRECT TEXT. Tate Topa Tribal School FI&R Project No. 05A01. POC Contracting Issues Richard Zephier, Contracting Officer, at 605/226-7426; Technical Issues Gordon Rosby, Regional Architect, at 605/226-7371. The Base Bid(s) includes: (a) construction of new football, baseball and softball Athletic Fields for the Tate Topa Tribal School, Ft. Totten, North Dakota - new fields will be located east of Bldg 301 - School; (b) Extensive remodeling of Bldg 301 ??? School, approx. 120,730 sq. ft., including new doors, new kitchen equipment, new circulating pump system, new fire sprinkler system for 50,000 sq. ft. of bldg, replacement of all lighting (base bid excludes E-1, and E-2); (c) an approx. 6,160 sq. ft. pre-cast concrete Addition to Bldg 302 ??? Storage; (d) Remodeling of Bldg 900301 ??? Kindergarten, approx. 4,526 sq. ft.; (e) Remodeling of Bldg 900303 ??? Head Start, approximately 1,630 sq. ft.; (f) Remodeling of Bldg 900305 ??? Office, approx. 1,748 sq. ft. Set apart from the base bid are the following Alternate Bids: (G-1) Rubberized Track Surface at Athletic Fields; (G-2) Graffiti Coatings on Concession Bldg.; (G-3) Aluminum Seating at sports stadium; (G-4) Insulated Translucent Panel Skylights, Bldg 302; (G-5) Prefabricated Metal Shelving in Bldg 302; (G-6) Overhead Crane in Bldg 302; (G-7) All architectural work in Bldg 900302 ??? for mechanical, see M-3 and for electrical, see E-5; (G-8) Player Shelters and Aluminum Benches for Athletic Fields; (M-1) two water wells for Athletic Fields; (M-2) Field Irrigation System for Athletic Fields; (M-3) All mechanical work in Bldg 900302; (E-1) Sports Lighting for Athletic Fields; (E-2) Auditorium Sound System for Bldg 301; (E-2) Theatrical Lighting for Bldg 301; (E-4) Security Cameras for Bldg 302; (E-5) All electrical work in Bldg 900302. This project is federally funded. Davis Bacon wage rates and other federal regulations as well as Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) regulations apply. Single combined bids will be received for all portions of the construction work; the successful bidder will be the Single Prime Contractor. Work will be performed in Fort Yates, North Dakota, Benson County. Bidding materials will be available on or after August 14, 2003, at a cost of $250.00 per set, non-refundable. Only cashier???s check or money order acceptable, made payable to the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Bid opening date is September 1, 2005, 3 p.m., CST. Cost range: $4,500,000 -- $6,500,000.
