Description

The National Park Service intends to issue a sole source award to Kenworth Northwest, Inc. for the purchase of a 58,000 GVWR Boom Truck equipped with a 60 foot - 15 ton crane, 425 HP engine, 18 speed Transmission, 18 foot deck, 1200 sq. in. air-to-air radiator, tandem, pusher and drop axles, dual cab side-mounted exhaust, 75 gallon fuel tank, steel bumbers, front tow hook, fiberglass cab with alluminum doors, quiet cab package - foam insulation in cab, interior cab includes air-cushion plus fully adjustable vinyl seats and dual padded armrests, exterior color: white, standard warranty. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C.(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
