Description

In support of AS-40 and forward deployed and home-ported submarines, the Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is procuring water filteration units. The requirements are 3 chlorinator units, Geo-Centers model number AN-TSQ-218-01, and 3 dechlorinator units, Geo-Centers model number AN-PSQ-11 (V) 3 5U1A, for use in the daily maintenance of submarine heat exchangers while in port. This action is to be negotiated on a sole source basis with the manufacturer Geo-Centers of Newton, MA, 02459 per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Delivery of all items to Travis AFB, CA. 94535 is required as soon as practicable, but no later than 20 weeks after date of contract.
