- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Seal Beach Division, intends to solicit for the design, fabrication, test, logistics support and delivery of Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) Special Purposes Bodies (SPB) and associated equipment. The requirement will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 336399 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The anticipated contract type will be firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity. The period of performance will be base year and four possible one-year option periods. Items to be acquired include Field Service Body, minimum qty 32, maximum qty 52; Fuel Body, min qty 32, max qty 58; Water Distributor Body, min qty 47, max qty 66. Requirement also includes operator and maintainer training. The solicitation will be issued on or about 23 August 2005. When issued, the solicitation will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco! .navy.mil. Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the solicitation. No telephone or fax requests for the solicitation will be accepted. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
