- The Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, NC has a requirement for a dual drive trailer mounted SCBA fill system consisting of air compressor, purification, storage system and fill station. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00146-05-T-3357 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03 and Defense Acquisition Circular 98-63. This acquisition is under the North American Industry Classification System code 333912, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced contract, Brand Name or Equal, for the following item: Item 0001: 1 each Bauer Tcom-13H dual drive trailer mounted compressor system. The delivery requirements are FOB destination and are to be delivered to Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, SC 29904 within 18 weeks or less. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (AUG 1999). FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items (JAN 2005). FAR 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (JAN 2005), Alternate I (APR 2002). A completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (OCT 2003). FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (JAN 2005), to include clauses (5) (14) (15) (16) (17) (18) (19) (20) (26) and (31). DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (JAN 2005), applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b); DFARS 252.225-7036 Alt 1, Buy American Act?North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act?Balance of Payment Program (JAN 2005); DFARS 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests (JAN 2004) and DFARS 252.247-7023, Transportation of Supplies by Sea (MAR 2000). Evaluation Factors: The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this Request for Quotation to the technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror based on price and delivery. This requirement has a Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-C9. All quotes must be received no later than 3:oo PM, local time, August 18, 2005.
