Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC) services for male and female Federal offenders located in the Northern District of Indiana (Counties of: St. Joseph, Lake, Laporte, and Porter) area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, “Comprehensive Sanctions Center, revised through October 2003. This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 81% male and 19% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 29,200 (males) and 7,300 (females) for the two-year base period; 15,006 (male) and 3,660 (female) for option year one; 14,965 (male) and 3,650 (female) for option year two; and 15,330 (male) and 3,650 (female) for option year three respectively. The solicitation will be available on or after December 14, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-0843-NC will be on or about February 12, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contract s for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted.
