Description
Below are questions posed by potential offerors and answers from the Contracting Squadron. Proposals are due 8 June 2005 at 1600EST. Q: Will the elevator be available for use in moving? A: Yes Q: When will the walls be finished? A: Approximately 8 June 2005 Q: Is there a loading dock? A: Yes Q: What is the width of the interior door jams? A: 34.5 inches Q: Are the lecterns pictured in the drawings a part of this bid package? A: No they will be a part of a future package Q: What is the building completion date? A: 15 August 2005 Q: What type of Internet connection will be offered? A LAN they will not be wireless Q: Is the PDF File to scale? A: The PDF File is NOT to scale. The AUTOCAD model space is to scale. Q: How can bid be submitted? A: By Mail, Fax, E-mail Q: How is the electrical system to be set up? A: It will be hard-wired from the wall. Q: Can the drawings be saved to an ACAD2000? A: Yes they can be saved to Acad2000. Q: What is the size of the LCD monitors? A; 17” LCD’s. Q. Are power clusters required on the 42x30 desks also, or only on the 72x30 desks? A: Yes they are required for both desks. Q. The additional power spec is unclear, it says that the power cord must be long enough so that the strip can go into the farthest desk from the wall. On a four desk cluster that will be 168" from the wall (is that correct for cord length)? A: Can’t give a specific dimension. That would depend on the vendors desk sizes, but the idea is to leave enough slack that the cords can reach furthest desk from the wall. Q. On the three desk clusters how many power strips will be required? The spec only mentions each group of 4 A: Two power strips for each three desks. Q: Can more specifics be given on the chair requirement? A: The principal characteristic that we are looking for in the chairs is that they function with the desk that are in each offerors' proposal. They need to meet the guidelines in the statement of work. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-JUN-2005).
