- Amend as follows, (1) Change rail chain tie downs quantity to read 610 sets in lieu of 410 sets. (2) Assembled set consist of 36 chains each. (3) Chain tiedown assembly, in addition to conforming to the requirements of technical diagram, must confo rm to all Association of American Railroads (AAR) requirements for chain tiedown assemblies in effect on the date of contract award, including design, workmanship, markings, and approved manufacturers and parts.
