Description

The 412th Test Wing, Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order to Systems Manufacturing Corporation (SMC), Conklin, NY. Solicitation#: F1S0AW5180B001. This acquisition is for; the Design, Fabrication, Installation and Delivery of Modular Electronics Equipment Enclosures to Link 16 Consoles configured to fit existing electronics equipment across the multi-unique Real Time control rooms at the Ridley Mission Control Center. These controls are used for multi- aircraft real-time flight testing and must be form fit and function to the existing consoles. Consoles are unique in that they have enclosed equipment areas that must meet specific requirements for the electronics. The SMC consoles allows reconfiguration and the adding of additional consoles if needed in keeping of integrity of the control center in tact. Height, depth and width specifications are critical of the consoles in that monitoring screens are installed on the walls in the control rooms that must be visible to the technician from the console position. This project will enable uniformity throughout the existing control rooms at the 412th Test Wing (DRP) Section.
