Description

The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), Center for Veterinary Biologics Laboratory in Ames, Iowa intends to acquire Brucellosis Diagnostic Test Cards and Antigen, with the option to purchase additional Brucellosis Card Test Kits. The cards, kits and antigen are used by VS as an aid in the diagnosis of Brucellosis in animals. The Government anticipates the need for 1,000 packs of cards (50/cards/pack) and 6,000 packs of antigen (16.2ml total volume/Pack). Optional quantity of Brucellosis Card Test Kits (2,000 kits). This is a firm fixed price requirements contract. FOB Destination. This procurement is set aside 100% for a small business. Contract period is October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006, with the 4 one-year renewal options to extend the effective period. Not to exceed five (5) years. A single award is anticipated. The solicitation, #57-M-APHIS-05, is to be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement. Solicitation will be available at this website on or about August 5, 2005. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Paper copies of the RFP and/or amendments will not be issued. The solicitation and the specifications will be made available electronically at this website only. All changes to the pre-solicitation notice, solicitation and any attachments shall be posted to the website at: www.FedBizOpps.gov. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFEROR REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERDIOCIALLY FOR UPDATES.
