Description

DESCRIPTION: The United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System of Little Rock, Arkansas is soliciting inquiries from interested parties located within Pulaski County, Arkansas to provide Cardiothoracic Surgery to eligible Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System Veterans. A solicitation package will be issued on August 1, 2005 that will require a contractor-owned, contractor-operated facility and all staff, equipment, supplies necessary to perform services. Services include pre-operative evaluation, surgical procedure and post-operative care. Services will be performed in compliance with JCAHO requirements. The term of the agreement will be for a base period from January 1, 2006 through September 30, 2006 with four (4) renewable 12 month option periods totaling 57 months. This is an unrestricted solicitation and all offers from responsible parties will be considered. The NAICS is 621110 and the size standard is $8.5M.
