David Ruppe Engineering Products Services Will Galia Engineering Products Services Mark Ellis FMRW Rich Pecora FMRW George Bedo IKM Mr. Heiger, after a few opening comments, introduced the design team and Lynne Dickerhoff to the assembled for this Pre-bid Meeting. 1. Lynne Dickerhoff commented on the clarifications previously posted on the web site for the bidding of the project, such as the cost of the Construction Documents, $175 per set, access to the bidding information and the Documents on the Web, date of the Pre-Bid Meeting and the clarification of the alternate bids. She also distributed to all in attendance the results of ATS Geotechnical Investigation Report for informational purposes only. The information is not part of the Construction Document, therefore bidders must verify all information contained in this report. 2. Mr. Heiger asked all in attendance if they had any questions regarding the Alternate Bid Deducts #1, # 2 and # 3. There were no questions. 3. Mr. Heiger also commented on the required documentation by the successful bidder of OSHA training of the staff. 4. Opening of the bids will be at 2:00 PM, July 27, 2005. He requested that the bid prices shall be held for 90 days; Contracts will be signed no later then early October with construction starting immediately. 5. Lynne Dickerhoff will receive questions until July 22, 2005. 6. Parking and staging will be restricted to the construction site. 7. There was an orientation tour of the site; during the tour Mr. Heiger gave a general idea of location of the site and the connection to the existing building. The tour included a walk through of the First Floor of Building 32. He made references to clean-up and abatement issues contained in the General Conditions of the Specifications.
