- Under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, the VA Medical Center located at 7305 N. Military Trail West Palm Beach, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source contract with GE Medical Systems located at 8200 W. Tower Ave. Milwaukee, Wi 53223 to provide full hardware and software maintenance support and telephone support for the GE Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS) at VA Medical Center. Support includes but is not limited to: 24/7 remote operation center support and active system management, software error corrections and updates, unlimited parts and labor, remote applications training, factory trained on-site support. Anyone wishing to respond to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that they can meet these requirements. Interested parties have until August 5, 2005 to submit their qualifications and capabilities in writing. Such qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. If there are no responses to this notice within the time designated, negotiations will commence with GE Medical Systems.
