- The Southern Region Contracting Center-West (SRCC-West), Fort Sam Houston, TX has a requirement for maintenance of existing security system components (software and hardware) at Buildings 902, 919, 922, 1279, 1350, 1379, 1380, 1382, 2791, 2840 and 28 41, Fort Sam Houston, Texas from date of award thru 31 December 2005. Work includes providing software patches and upgrades and technical support, such as computer programming as necessary. The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in acco rdance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. SRCC-W intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price purchase orde r to Alamo Integrated Systems, Inc. (AIS), 2805 S.W. Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227. AIS installed all of the security system components and have overlapping hardware and software warranties. Contractor is required to be a factory certified dealer and installer of Identicard Systems, Nice Systems and the AIS Console Software. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the point of contact below no later than 3:00 p.m. (CDT) of July 28, 2005. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with th e requirement listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are rece ived, the Government will proceed to negotiate a sole source agreement with Alamo Integrated Systems, Inc. Responses are due no later than 3:00 p.m. (CDT), July 28, 2005.
