- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-03-G-0003 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation to perform an analysis of the VH-60N aircraft to ascertain the mean life of this structure. This effort consists of the non-recurring engineering necessary to determine the mean life of the structure and associated reports. Sikorsky is the original equipment manufacturer, system integrator, and current depot level maintenance provider for the VH-060N, and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, proprietary data, and expertise of the VH-60N design, operation and maintenance to meet the Navy?s requirement to perform this Mean Life study. The period of performance is estimated to be 19 months. Numbered Note 22 applies.
