Description

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Dynalec Corp; 87 W Main Street; P.O. Box 188; Sodus, NY 14551 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, to obtain 12 M5LLSO-1C Low Level Serial Switches, Part Number 66508-289. The basis for the sole source is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The design of these switches incorporate the same characteristics as those currently used onboard ship. Dynalec is the recognized source within the Navy???s Supply System for these manually switched low level serial switches. During many engineering demonstrations throughout the development and initial installations of the low level serial system, the signal characteristic of the installed cabling and switches had the most positive influence on the performance of the system and provided the greatest accuracy of a coherent tactical picture. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit information in which they identify their interest and capability. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
