- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Seal Beach Det intends to procure 1 ea Transmitter-Safe 4:1 120MHz to 6000 MHz commutator, P/N 120CT4; 1 ea VHF Artificial Dielectric Foam Resonant Cavity, P/N 1XVHFE; 1 ea UWB Artificial Dielectric Foam Resonant Cavity, P/N 1XUWE. Sole Source to Progressive Technologies, Las Vegas, NV due to Progressive Technologies offering the electronics which distribute RF energy from one input to multiple outputs, by connecting one transmitter to multiple antennas and artificial-dielectric foam filled cavities enabling dynamic adjustment of material polarization and dielectric properties. The cavity units are composed of substrate material with the required physical properties (weight a fraction of solid polyethylene) and frequency range of up to 12000 MHz (UWB) or VHF to 200 MHz, and the electronics are capable of maintaining VSWR at or below 2.5 over the 120 MHz to 6000 MHz ultrawideband frequency range regardless of arm position. Oral R! FQ via Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. Anticipated award date on or before 01 August 2005.
