Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is TIRSE-05-Q-00036 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The IRS will be entering into a Commercial Item (CI) procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-04 This requirement is a 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone businesses for which the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334613 Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This will be an all or none award based on the offeror whose quote represents the best value to the Government. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer submitting the lowest total evaluated price for the two line items. Pricing quotes will be FOB Destination and delivery to made within 30 days after award. Numbered Note 27 applies. INFORMATION TO BE RETURNED TO CONTRACTING OFFICER To submit a valid quote to be considered for award of this order, please submit the following completed information no later than 12:00 noon, eastern time, Thursday, July 28, 2005. Proposals may be mailed, faxed, or emailed in a timely manner.
