- The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from interested firms to provide consultant radiologist services for the Cheyenne River Indian Health Service Hospital and Clinic (hereafter referred to as the Service Unit) located in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. The contract radiologist will provide radiology services for reading/interpretation of patient x-rays and ultrasound films, bimonthly site visits to do fluoroscopic examinations, and provide monthly in-services to staff and providers at the Service Unit as outlined in the Statement of Work. This shall include such exams as UGI?s Barium Enema?s, Small Bowel Studies, Esophagrams, and other fluoroscopic exams with in the Service Units capability. It shall also include but is not limited to reading radiographs made by ancillary personnel and delivered to the contractor weekly, with dictated reports returned to the Service Unit with in 72 hours. The IHS anticipates the award of a fixed price type, non-personal service, performance based contract for (1) one base year plus (1) one option year. RFP-05-09 will be published and available for distribution approximately 15 days form publication of this notice. Solicitation closing date is tentatively scheduled for September 15, 2005.
